Liza Minnelli is pulling back the curtain on her mother Judy Garland's relationship with Frank Sinatra.

In her new memoir, *Kids, Wait Till You Hear This!*, Minnelli detailed the "passionate love" between the *Wizard of Oz *star and the man she affectionately referred to as "Uncle Frank."

Minnelli recalled how Sinatra was among the guests her parents Garland and Vincente Minnelli would invite over for parties. She also "spent hours" in her room, "learning songs" Sinatra sang. She also said he was one of the first people to hold her when she was born, calling him "always present in our lives" and loving her family — especially Garland.

"During the time my parents were married, I eventually figured out that there was more between Frank and Mama than friendship. Much more," wrote Minnelli. She called Sinatra and Garland "very complicated, mercurial, intense human beings."**

Minnelli said that Garland would "always back away from a deeper commitment." "Yet it diminishes their relationship to call it an 'affair.' It was certainly more than that, and deeply romantic," Minnelli wrote. Despite Garland being married several times throughout her life, Minnelli said that Sinatra was "one of the greatest loves, if not the greatest love, of her life."

The *Cabaret *actress also said that Sinatra once bought her mother a dazzling and "terribly chic" Tiffany & Co. Sixteen Stone Ring by Jean Schlumberger, dripping in diamonds. Garland wore it, but never on the finger Sinatra had hoped for.

When Garland died in 1969, Sinatra offered to pay for her funeral and burial, added Minnelli. "He was always there for us," she wrote.**

Elsewhere in her memoir, Minnelli recalled touring with Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. in the 1980s, stepping in for Dean Martin after he fell ill. She became close with Ol' Blue Eyes during this time, but she did note that he could be difficult.

"He got cranky some nights, and when that happened I'd just leave the room," she wrote, noting that no one wanted to be in his presence "when he got into one of those moods," even if you weren't at fault.

Minnelli also claimed that he "snapped" one night before a performance when she was holding a microphone and he wasn't given one. "What kind of cheap joint is this, with only one mic?" he said at the time. The moment quickly passed after a staffer handed him a microphone, and Minnelli and Sinatra stepped on stage. Sinatra died in 1998.

Disgraced producer and convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein has been shunned by Hollywood since he was accused of sexual conduct by nearly 100 women and subsequently convicted on multiple rape charges. But Weinstein says he's also been turned away by some of his own children.

Weinstein sat down for a wide-ranging interview with *The Hollywood Reporter* from Rikers Prison in New York, where he's been housed for almost six years. During the conversation, he revealed that he spends 23 hours of his day in his cell, but his "lifeline" is the "16 to 18 minutes" on the phone that he gets every couple of hours.

"I speak to three of my children every single day: my oldest daughter, who is 30 now, and my 12-year-old and my 15-year-old," he said. "My other two children haven't talked to me for six years. I also speak to my lawyers and to a few friends. It's the only thing that keeps me sane."

Weinstein has three daughters with his first wife, Eve Chilton, and a daughter and son with his second wife, Georgina Chapman. Weinstein said to *THR* that he's reached out "lots of times" to his and Chilton's two younger daughters, who have also changed their names in the wake of their father's scandal.

"They never respond," he said. "It's been radio silence from them ever since the allegations started."

But Weinstein isn't giving up on reconnecting with them, or overturning his convictions. "I'm confident that I will — when I get out of here and I prove my innocence," he declared. "When I lay in that cell and think about them, I just want them to know that I love them. I didn't do the things they think I did."

While Weinstein said that he doesn't speak with Chapman, he is "grateful" that she allows him to see his youngest children, and he even apologizes for the "bad rap" that the fashion designer got in the wake of the allegations against him, insisting she knew nothing of his actions. Chapman is now in a relationship with Adrien Brody, and when Brody won the Oscar for Best Actor last year, he spoke glowingly in his speech about his love for Chapman and her children.

"It's good that my kids have someone in their lives," Weinstein said of Brody. "And Georgina suffered terribly because of me. I'm glad she's finally found some happiness."

Today's Dylan Dreyer recently talked about Savannah Guthrie and her future on the show with TMZ. Guthrie stepped down from her co-hosting duties after her mother, Nancy, was taken from her Tucson home on February 1. During the interview, when asked if her co-host would ever make a comeback, Dreyer said that Guthrie will return on the show, but is unsure about the timing.

"I do. None of us know what that looks like. She doesn't know what that looks like. But we're all open to it. We love her dearly, and we want her back," said Dreyer.

Amid all the tension, Guthrie visited the Today set on March 5 and told her colleagues she plans to return to the show. The co-host even expressed her gratitude towards her coworkers for supporting her and her family at such a tough time. "I have every intention of coming back," Guthrie told her colleagues, per the Today Show. "I don't know how to come back, but I don't know how not to. You're my family. And I would like to try."

Even Dreyer revealed in the interview that seeing Guthrie for the first time in over a month was "was exactly what we needed to just hug her, pray for her." She added,"I think she needed us as much as we needed to see her. She wants to go back to life and doesn't know how to do it, you know? So to just kind of show up, get the hugs from us, hear from us, see us face to face, I think it was important for all of us."

Hoda Kotb has been filling in for Guthrie since February, marking her first return to the show since retiring early last year.

In a recent segment, sports analyst Pat McAfee told Travis Kelce how Taylor Swift is a bigger name than him. The host asked the ace footballer, "Can we talk about Taylor for a second?" and Kelce happily agreed. McAfee stated, "I never want to do that strictly because I want you to know that we respect what you've done for football." He added, "We also appreciate the fact how you're representing football to a lot of people. So, we love you for that."

The 38-year-old continued, "Never want to take advantage of the relationship you're in. But every time I talk about you guys, I think you've heard me say this , like two greats together is good for society." McAfee further explained, "I feel like you two can motivate each other. Now, I know she's the biggest star on earth, so I'm not saying that I think you are same as her. Yeah, right. We all understand the situation with Taylor, you do too."

Kelce agreed, and McAfee continued, "You do as well, which is why I think you were the perfect person for her. But you watching her do her thing and continue to move and work, has that certainly helped you think, through this process," if he still wishes to go or "getting older body doing that." The football tight end replied, "Without a doubt. She shares the same love for what we do. We've had fortunately this desire since we were kids in our selective professions."

The 36-year-old continued, "It's amazing to see her keep going to the table, keep finding new things to write about." He added, "[I like how Taylor] keeps finding new melodies and things like that, and on top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does, and yeah, of course, that's motivating."
