Donna Kelce says it’s “heartwarming” to see her son Travis Kelce bond with his four young nieces
Travis, described as an “animated” and “outstanding” uncle, loves playing with Jason and Kylie Kelce’s daughters

Donna Kelce loves watching son Travis Kelce be an uncle.
The mom of Travis and Jason Kelce, who has partnered with GameChanger, the No. 1 streaming app for youth sports, to unveil the “Gran Cave," the perfect home viewing setup for sports grandparents, tells PEOPLE that it's "very heartwarming" to see Travis as an uncle to his young nieces.
The Kansas City Chiefs star, 36, is uncle to Jason and Kylie Kelce's four daughters: Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finn, 13 months.
"It's kind of like a free-for-all where he's throwing them up in the air and on the couch," says Donna, 73. "Jason does the same thing. It's just amazing to see your grown-up children interact with their own kids. It's very heartwarming."

On an episode of New Heightslast year, Travis shared that he was looking forward to Jason and Kylie welcoming their fourth daughter together so that he could "have some fun" with them – and then hand them right back to their parents.
"By the time the next kid is here, we'll have a 5-year-old, a 4-year-old, a 2-year-old and a newborn," Jason said at the time. "So we're in the thick of it. We're in the thick of it big time. It's gonna be crazy. I still don't know how we're going to handle four, but it's gonna be intense."

"Hell yeah. You guys would be great. I can't wait to f---ing get up in there and have some fun with those girls and hand them right back to you," Travis replied.
"That's the benefit of the uncle," Jason said. "Uncle Travie."
Later in the conversation, Jason praised Travis for being such a great uncle, saying, "Travis has great advice. He's a great uncle. Outstanding uncle."

In a November 2023 interview with PEOPLE, Donna again opened up about her son Jason’skids and their relationship with their “uncle Trav.”
At the time, Donna said that Travis “loves” being an uncle, clarifying that “he loves kids, period.”
The NFL mom added that her son is "really a good uncle,” taking time to emphasize that “he's so good and animated.”
“They just love him,” she added of Jason's daughters.
