About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement PISCATAWAY – Rutgers football coach Greg Schiano expressed more confidence after his team's most recent loss that the Scarlet Knights are capable of winning again this season.
They pushed Michigan before losing 28-21 to fall to 2-6 in what's been a difficult, frustrating and disappointing season for Rutgers.
The Scarlet Knights have only four games remaining, and at this point nothing is coming easily.
Their next chance to pick up a win will come on Saturday, Nov. 7 when they play Wisconsin at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin - a place where the Scarlet Knights have never won previously.

Wisconsin is coming off a blowout 30-0 loss to Iowa, and the Badgers' second-best win this season – a 24-20 win over then-13 th ranked Penn State back in September – no longer looks quite as good with the Nittany Lions turning in a disappointing season.
Although Wisconsin did beat USC convincingly on Oct. 24.
The Badgers' offense has been underwhelming, averaging 318.3 yards per game, which ranks 15 th in the Big Ten.
Wisconsin quarterback Colton Joseph, who was benched against Iowa, is completing just 55.6 percent of his passes.
But their defense has been better, allowing just 290.1 yards per game, good for seventh in the conference.

And it remains to be seen if star wide receiver KJ Duff, who left the loss to the Wolverines with an apparent lower-body injury, will play against Wisconsin.
This will be another tough game in a tough environment for the Scarlet Knights.
Rutgers plays Wisconsin on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin in their Week 10 game.

Rutgers is a 16.5-point underdog, according to Vegas Insider.
The Rutgers offense has been underwhelming because of the quarterback play without Dylan Lonergan. His status remains unclear – Schiano said after the Michigan loss that he's not certain if Lonergan will return this season. Against a solid defense like Wisconsin's, Surace is going to have his hands full. That's especially true if Duff isn't available. The Scarlet Knights' defense has gotten better, and it should be able to limit a weak Badgers offense. Still, if Rutgers can't stop Wisconsin on third down – an issue that hurt it badly against Michigan – this could be a long day for Travis Johansen's unit. This will likely be a relatively low scoring game, but the Badgers pull out the win at home.
Score prediction: Wisconsin 24, Rutgers 13
