Tia Mowry empowered her followers to lean into aging with a candid Instagram post
The television star and mom of two shared a series of bare-faced selfies alongside a message on getting older and embracing stripped-down beauty
"No makeup. No filters. Just me," she wrote
Tia Mowry is feeling good in her skin.
The Disney Channel alum, 47, shared an empowering message on aging and confidence in a new Instagram post featuring multiple makeup-free selfies.
"While I love a good glam moment, I feel most beautiful when I'm simply being me," she began in the caption, which accompanied a carousel of photos starting with one of her in pajamas and rocking her curly hair.
"No makeup. No filters. Just me," she wrote before sharing a powerful message on aging.

"The older I get, the more I realize beauty isn't about perfection, it's about confidence, authenticity, and embracing every part of your journey," she wrote, adding, "real is beautiful too."
Last April, Mowry shared another Instagram post reflecting on life in her late 40s.
"I still feel young at heart, but there's a wisdom that comes with age that I truly cherish. Growing older used to scare me, but now? I welcome it," she shared. "I'm not ashamed of getting older and honestly, there are so many things I'm no longer afraid to admit. Life has a funny way of surprising us, and I'm here for the ride."

Only two months prior, the mom of two — who announced she was splitting from her ex-husband Cory Hardrict after 14 years of marriage in October 2022 — opened up to PEOPLE about how she "manifested" romance following an era of solitude and self-discovery.
"I was really able to learn who I am, what it was that I wanted, and what it was that I needed. And I manifested this. I really did," she said.
While she declined to share details about her partner, telling PEOPLE, "I want to protect [our privacy]," Mowry did reveal how parenting has influenced her outlook on meeting new people.
"Not that going out and dating and not being intentional is the wrong thing, but I have a lot of responsibilities and taking care of my children, being the best mom and parent to them is my priority. So if this happens to happen, then it happens. But yeah, I'm very much at peace."
