Ray J is back in a hospital bed after getting knocked out in a celebrity MMA match months after claiming that he doesn't have long to live.

Over the weekend, the "One Wish" singer reignited fan concern over his health after participating in Adin Ross' UFC Apex event in Las Vegas. During the second round of his match against YouTuber Supa Hot Fire, Ray J took a blow to the face that abruptly ended the face-off. Footage of the match sees the singer slide to the ground immediately after taking the hit.

Days later, TMZ shared photos of the R&B artist laid up in a Vegas hospital bed. A source told the outlet that Ray J was experiencing a heart issue and checked for a concussion.

Ray J, whose full name is William Ray Norwood Jr., has since offered fans a few words of reassurance… while also promoting his next public appearance. In a Wednesday Instagram Stories post highlighting his upcoming May 29 performance at the Pete Be Center in San Jose, he wrote, "Getting better. I'll see y'all on Friday."

During the Saturday faceoff, Ray J initially appeared to be holding his own against Supa Hot Fire (full name Dewayne DeShawn Stevenson). But the second round punch to the face instantly KO'd the singer. Ray J slid against the ropes and down to the ground, visibly disoriented. He managed to get back on his feet and was helped to a stool. The referee ended the match soon after.

In an interview shared on X post-match, Ray J appeared to tease that there was a plan for the match that Supa Hot Fire didn't follow.

"Damn bro … like that? For real … that's janky as f---," the singer complained. "I don't want to say too much because I don't want to get nobody in trouble, but damn… we took an L tonight."

He then added, "You know how much money we lost? Wow."

The past few months have seen Ray J repeatedly make headlines over health concerns. Back in January, the singer claimed that he had only one year left to live.

After being hospitalized for a severe case of pneumonia on Jan. 6, Ray J said his doctors prescribed him eight different medications in an effort to prolong his life amid his ongoing heart issues. He went on to describe a series of health crises, sharing that his years-long struggle with drugs and alcohol had a long-term effect on his health. Ray J claimed that the right side of his heart had turned black; that his heart has only been beating "25 percent"; and that his medical team told him he has just months to live.

"2027 is definitely a wrap for me," he said in a January livestream.

In February, Ray J sparked renewed concern when fans noticed blood dripping from his eyes and heart monitor during a Feb. 14 concert in Shreveport, La. A photographer from the event later told local outlets that the "fake blood" was all part of Ray J's "theatrical" plan.

In a statement to EW at the time,* *Ray J's manager, Melinda Santiago, did not directly deny the "fake blood" allegations but wrote, "The bottom line is Ray J has been in and out of the hospital dealing with health and heart issues. That is a fact. Another fact is that the meds that Ray is on, have some side effects. It's absurd that a local videographer (not our team) would want to clout chase for 5 min of fame off of Ray J name and play about Ray being sick is sick in itself."
