Drew Barrymore had one extra special guest on her talk show on Friday and didn't even know it.

The Golden Globe-winning actress received the surprise of her life when it was revealed that there was a ghost hanging out in the back of her studio set during the episode. Then, ever a proper host, Barrymore fully embraced the supernatural with open arms.

"Well, welcome to whoever is here," she said, glancing backward to where the supposed spirit was standing. "Because I'm for everyone and everything. Hope you're a nice spirit!"

Barrymore learned of the ghost's presence during a conversation with influencer Brittany Broski. As part of her interview, the *Royal Court* star had brought her ghost-hunting mom Heather Long with her who, in turn, pointed out the spirit looming large on set.

"There's one right back over there," Long said, prompting Barrymore to whip her head around and shout, "WHAT!"

Long then pointed to a place behind her daughter in the corner of the show's set. "On the stage over there," she said. "There's a presence over there."

While she may not have been able to see the spirit, Barrymore was fully on board — especially since the CBS Broadcast Center where her show is filmed has had many different lives over the years.

"This used to be full of dairy cattle, that's what this building was," she explained. "So there is these crazy tunnels underneath the ground where they would bring all the cows through."

Since then, the space has gone on to become the home of "soap operas" and "classic shows," Barrymore noted, so it makes sense that someone might stick around. "This is the CBS Broadcast Center," she added. "There has been so much filmed in here."

Now, all that's left to do is to have Barrymore and her Drew Crew pals break out the ouija board and identify the spirit haunting their talk show.
