The price tag behind Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Madison Square Garden wedding may be in the eight-figure range.

Esther Lee, the editorial director at The Knot Worldwide, broke down the possible cost of the musician and football player’s star-studded MSG wedding. “While the average American wedding sits at $34,000, according to The Knot Real Weddings Study, this production would’ve operated on a completely different scale,” she told *Page Six*.

Costs for a wedding with hundreds of attendees included several days to load in and load out for the event, along with the groundwork needed, could cost between $5 million and $10 million, said Lee.

Florals and decorations, meanwhile, had an eye-watering price tag. “We estimate the decor and florals to be, at minimum, $5 million,” Lee said. “Not to forget that custom draping and carpet installation had to transform the space entirely.”

Catering and the service needed for over 1,000 guests could cost between $2.5 million and $3 million. Details such as branding and entertainment added to the wedding bill, as well.

When planning a wedding this massive and for such high-profile guests, Lee explained that “privacy and logistics” are important early in the wedding planning stages. Details such as design, color scheme, and florals are secondary after these aspects are set.

“For Taylor and Travis, that meant finding an environment that allowed for total street closures and direct, private vehicle access, which is why Madison Square Garden was a prime choice for the couple on this momentous occasion.”

These designers brought in for large-scale events “start with spatial design and figure out how to make a cavernous space feel intimate,” instead of choosing a theme.

Throughout the evening, Swift and Kelce also had games where guests could win tickets for raffle items such as designer bags, Cartier watches, and a vintage car.

Lee estimated that the “total cost sits in the $20 million to $30+ million range, cementing it as a massive economic engine for the local New York economy and broader wedding industry at large.”

Swift and Kelce dated for three years before tying the knot on July 3 in midtown Manhattan. A statement from Swift’s rep revealed what the bride and groom wore, along with who was involved in the ceremony.

“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom. This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry,” the statement reads.

Kelce and Swift “did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen” standing by their side for their big day.

“Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler,” the statement concluded.

Stevie Nicks performed during the reception, along with reports that Paul McCartney sang a hit Beatles song at one point during the evening as well.

Guests included Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Selena Gomez, Jack Antonoff, Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis, Stephen Colbert, Brad Pitt, Andy Reid, Tom Brady, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, Stephen A. Smith, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Stephen Colbert, and Sacha Baron Cohen.
