Carnie Wilson made a major hair change.
On Wednesday, July 15, the Wilson Phillips singer, 58, revealed that she’d ditched her longtime dark red locks in favor of a blonde style. In a series of snaps shared to Instagram, Wilson appears with long, honey-colored hair.
“I waited seven years to change my hair color!!! I love my red, but sometimes you just need a little bit of honey,” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you to my angel and ‘brother’ my Bube @combsd1 and @syndicatesalon Special shout out to @jennaa.elias for putting my extensions in!!! I feel rejuvenated❤️❤️❤️”
Fans are loving the transformation.
“STUNNING, as always! You’re so gorgeous! ❤️❤️,” one wrote.

Wilson recently opened up about being hospitalized with complications from her lap-band removal surgery
“OK, the official update. My daughter’s getting a prescription for me right now, but I am out of the hospital,” Wilson shared in a video shared to Instagram on Sept. 25.
A lap-band is a silicone band placed around the stomach, which reduces the capacity of your stomach and causes you to eat less, Cleveland Clinic explains. Wilson had her lap-band implanted in 2012.

Although the removal “was a great success,” the singer shared that she struggled with complications: “I had some swelling in the legs that kept getting worse. Needed to go back into the hospital because of high blood pressure. It was very scary, but after a couple of days there, we changed the meds. And the swelling has gone down and, like, almost gone.”
It was Wilson’s first health update since she shared on Sept. 16 that she was getting the lap-band removed, and as she explained, “I am finally over this hump, recovering from my lap-band surgery, lap-band removal.”
