- Zendaya rewore her 2015 Oscars dress, an ivory Vivienne Westwood bridal gown, to the Los Angeles premiere of *The Drama*.

- The actress was inspired by the rhyme "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue."

- Fans may recall in 2015 when 'Fashion Police' cohost Giuliana Rancic made offensive comments about her dreadlocks.

Zendaya is an outfit repeater — but we can't blame her for rewearing this dress.

At Tuesday's Los Angeles premiere of *The Drama*, the *Euphoria** *actress revived her 2015 Academy Awards look: an ivory elegant Vivienne Westwood bridal gown, made of silk with a tulle sash.

Speaking to *Variety** *on the red carpet, Zendaya said that the wedding plot of her latest film inspired the fashion choice. "I was brainstorming with [stylist Law Roach] about how I would theme-dress for this film, and I kind of remembered the saying, 'Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue,'" she shared. "So I thought I'd bring it back."

"It was such an important moment for myself, my community, for my loved ones, and it felt right," she said of the 2015 Oscars. And it also happens to be a wedding dress, so that works."**

Roach also posted about the dress on social media. "Who remembers this dress and all the headlines that came with it?" he wrote. "Decided to go with SOMETHING OLD tonight."

Fans may remember that the 2015 dress ignited a scandal. When the *Challengers *star wore the dress more than a decade ago, she styled her hair in dreadlocks. At the time, *Fashion Police** *cohost Giuliana Rancic said that Zendaya's dreadlocked hair probably smelled like "patchouli oil and weed" in her Oscars fashion recap.

Zendaya called Rancic's commentary "racial slurs." "There is a fine line between what is funny and disrespectful," she wrote on Instagram at the time, per PEOPLE. "Someone said something about my hair at the Oscars that left me in awe. Not because I was relishing in rave outfit reviews, but because I was hit with ignorant slurs and pure disrespect."

Months later, the *Fashion Police *personality responded. "I read her statement and I was shocked," Rancic told PEOPLE in April 2015. "I made [the joke] as a reference to the hippie culture. It was a bohemian-chic reference, not about race, nor would it ever be. It was horrifying to have my name in a headline with words I have never been associated with in my life."

"It was a very unfortunate incident," she continued. "I'm so regretful that people interpreted the joke [as they did]. I hurt people and I feel terrible about that. And I learned a really important lesson that if people are offended, it doesn't matter the intent."

Rancic eventually issued an on-air apology to Zendaya. "If I thought this joke could be interpreted another way, I never would have done it. I felt horrible," she said in part.
