Woman Who Accused Chiefs' Xavier Worthy of Assault Given Protective Order
The woman who accused Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy of assault has been granted a temporary restraining order against the football star. Attorneys for Tia Jones, a track and field athlete who was previously engaged to Worthy, 21, confirmed the order to The Associated Press on Wednesday, March 12. Ms. Jones has chosen to use her voice to speak up for herself, Angelica Cogliano, one of Jones' legal representatives, told the AP.
