Commanders tight end Zach Ertz is re-signing with the team on a one-year, $6.25million contract after revitalizing his career in Washington, according to reports. The deal for the three-time All-Pro could be worth up to $9m with incentives, according to multiple reports. Ertz, 34, was a favorite target of Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, in the 2024 season as Washington enjoyed an unlikely run to the NFC Championship game.
