Police are working with counterparts in India to attempt to trace the man, who vanished together with his BA floor providers companion after being arrested and bailed.

As part of his fiddle, he received shoppers, most from India, to fly to the UK on a short lived customer visa the place he arranged for them to jet elsewhere.

Canadian authorities raised the alarm after years of BA flights to Toronto or Vancouver on which arrivals would instantly declare asylum.

A probe discovered all have been checked in by the same man who falsely verified the travellers had an eTA — digital journey authorisation — to enter a chosen nation.

An eTA may be applied for by a passenger only of their nation of origin, and would have been rejected with out the BA official's assist.

He was nicked on January 6 but bailed after which he flew to India, from Heathrow, the place he has purchased several houses, it's stated.

A source informed The Sun last night time: "He exploited a loophole understanding that immigration checks are not carried out by officers but are left to airline employees.

"By inputting fallacious knowledge, and claiming eTA paperwork had been secured, he received individuals to nations that they had no permission to enter within the first place.

"On arrival, the bogus passengers would shred their paperwork and declare asylum.

"Others had been caught within the UK immigration system for up to 10 years, and feared being sent back to their country of origin.

"It was an ingenious plan which has made him tens of millions through the years.

"No-one is aware of yet the complete extent of what's gone on."

BA sources stated the airline had terminated the contracts of the supervisor and his companion.
